Can I Perm Again After I Permed My Hair After 2 Weeks

How Shortly Can I Get Another Perm?

Question: Fix for a Pilus Perm Disaster?

February 25, 2019

I went to become a perm yesterday. I sat down with a few pictures and nosotros both agreed that due to the length of my hair (two inches past shoulder length) that it would be hard to go defined curls, merely that a loose torso wave was definitely achievable. She failed to tell me that my hair dye would come out until half style through doing it. Then when information technology started running down her gloves she joked for several minutes that I was going ginger.

So she put the perm solution on with a squirty lucozade bottle because they didn't have a proper one and squirted it down my face at one betoken. When I went dwelling and it had properly dried the ends were straight and there were slight moving ridge/kinks at the summit of my head which is exactly the opposite of what she said would happen. I take had a full refund, but I am at present furious with the result as it looks similar I'm going to have to now apply straighteners on my hair every 24-hour interval (damaging my hair even more) for it to not await like I just rolled out of bed with cow licks!

It's been 24 hours since I had it done; I shampooed it this morning time to help opposite the process. Is there anything else I can practice to make it less kinked at the top and how long afterwards would you suggest I try get information technology done elsewhere?

Oh my! I am so sorry this happened to you lot! This could have been really bad if the perm solution had gotten into your eyes and damaged them. I am and so glad that didn't happen.

Personally, I would prefer to go to some other salon, and never go back to that salon again.

I concur with treating your hair with conditioners and not using any hot devices on your hair until it is back into good condition. Perms have harsh chemicals.

One way to go rid of curls from a perm, temporarily, is to launder, condition, then blow dry with warm air, not hot, while gently brushing the hair straight.

Doing this will take some of the curls out until the pilus is done again. The curls will be strongest if y'all wash your hair and let it dry naturally.

I wish you the best, and I would condition, condition, status!

Blessings,

Robyn

All-time Answer

I would wait around 6 to 8 weeks before doing this once more. I problem you may have had is non the cap simply the fourth dimension y'all left the solution on your hair or y'all forgot to put on the the second solution after the hair was rinsed out. Perming your pilus at dwelling house is very difficult and non really recommended because you tin can do a lot of damage to your hair.

I would like to suggest you lot to meet professional help in perming your pilus a second fourth dimension to make sure y'all get the results you are looking for.

Question: How Soon Can I Perm My Pilus Again?

I permed my pilus like a month ago. It was a home perm where my mom helped me perm it. She did something wrong, merely my hair had a little bit of moving ridge. I'm planning to go it repermed, simply I'm not sure if my pilus will be okay with it. I mean I don't desire to exist bald or anything. Should I reperm it and have the adventure or should I just let my hair grow out and lose the perm from the commencement time?

I take a sister that is a retired hair stylist and she always told her customers, myself included that you should simply perm every three months. You wouldn't end up completely bald, you might lose some hair and I don't know about that, only perming more often is difficult on the hair.
